Why you do not feel shocked on Touching a wire?

 We Do not feel shocked while we touch a live wire because of a specific condition which is necessary to be fulfill. Let us talk about the fact, If we touch one wire with our hand and we are Barefoot we will definitely get shocked because the circuit is closed, The current passes through your body will move into ground and ground have unlimited capacity to consume electric shock and it act like earth wire. 

Whereas If you hold a wire with Shoes{non-conductible} in your foot you will not feel current just the circuit is not closed Just like BIRDS.
