Why keyboard is in QWERTY format?

 Earlier, the typewriters have keys arranged in order of ABC. It has both pros and cons, It helps typist to type as much as faster than the speed of his thinking and writing as it is easy to learn the systematic order of keys in typewriter or keyboard But Now, the keys changed to the series of QWERTY which helps the keys of typewriter or keyboard to not get jam or damaged soon.
