Why are black dots around the windshield?

 The black dots are provided around the windshield for various reasons,the black dots are also provided at the back of the rear view mirror,these black dots are made of baked ceramic paint.these help to ran away the rain water from the windshield,it also help in move away the ultra violet rays of the sun through the windshield.
